# How to delete a job architecture

## Deleting a job architecture permanently removes it and everything in it. Do this only when you are sure you no longer need any of its content.

Available to any role that can, *except where noted*:

**Manage job architecture**

### **Solution overview**

Open the architecture's settings, go to **General**, then use **Delete this architecture**.

1. Open the architecture you want to delete, then click the **gear icon** in the top right to open **Settings**.

2. In **General** settings, navigate to the **Delete this architecture** card, click **Delete**.

3. Type in your architecture name, then click **Delete**.

**Note:** this cannot be undone. The architecture is removed permanently. If you have more than one architecture, deleting one does not affect the others.
