# How to delete a job
## You can delete a job you no longer need, for example one added by mistake or a role that no longer exists in your organisation. Deleting a job is permanent.
Available to any role that can, *except where noted*:

### **Solution overview**
Open the job, click the three-dot menu in the top right of its profile, then click **Delete**.
1. In your architecture's job list, click the job you want to delete. Its profile opens.
2. In the top right of the profile, click the three-dot menu, next to **Evaluate**.
3. Click **Delete**.
4. Confirm when prompted.
**Note:** deleting a job is permanent and cannot be undone. Its profile and scores are removed.
