How to edit a job profile

Applies to: all SkillsTrust platform users

Edit a job profile when you are reviewing job evaluation results, or when adding new jobs to your job architecture.

Solution overview

To edit a job profile, go to the Overview or Job Catalogue tab, click the job, select Edit, then make your changes.

Step 1: Open a job profile

  1. Select either Overview or Job Catalogue under the Job Architecture section from the left-hand menu.  


  2. Click on the job to open its job profile.

Step 2: Edit the job profile

  1. Click Edit in the top-right corner.

  2. While in edit mode, you can:
    1. Update the Status to Draft, Review Requested or Validated.
    2. Add or remove Tags.
    3. Assign a Job Family from the dropdown list.
    4. Update the Job Title.
    5. Add a Job Profile.
    6. Add or update Skill types from the dropdown list.
    7. Assign scores for all job evaluation subfactors.

  3. When you are happy with the changes, click Save in the top right to leave the edit mode. 

  4. Once you leave the edit mode, you can generate a job profile by clicking Generate with AI in the Job Profile card. 

  5. You can also assign the factor scores automatically to a job profile by clicking Evaluate with AI in the Point Factor Group card. 

  6. To edit the generated profile and the auto scores, enter the edit mode again by clicking Edit in the top right corner.
  7. To see a record of all changes, click the Activity tab in the top left corner of the job profile page.
